hey everyone,
sorry for the long post but if you're some ADD retard just skip the next two paragraphs to get the purpose of my post.
back in 2020 - during that initial quarantine - i was able to work on a small game starring ant and joe. last year, out of curiosity, i decided to check if the EXE was still available on mega.io. to my surprise it was taken down because of a copyright claim. the gameplay capture i posted on youtube was also muted for the same reason. i'm assuming it's because i purchased both rotgut tracks and added it to the game without any "transformative" changes to them so it got pulled down.
in order to avoid this issue again, i decided to "remix" the music while adding other features (which i'll get to in a second). instead of reuploading to mego.io, i put the game the on on itch.io through a dummy account. i left it up there for a few months to see if it would be removed by the moderators for whatever reason. lo and behold: it's still up. i'm hoping now that it can safely stay up there, for posterity sake of course, without any problems from itch in the future.
now that i'm done with my preamble, i can finally tell you that Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em 2: Cumia Bros. Edition can be played here.
on top of the changes i made to the soundtrack, i also added a local and online leaderboard, made a webgl version that can be played directly on your browser (i'd still suggest downloading the PC version however), and it includes a toggleable pixel-censor effect (which is on by default) to avoid any content problems with itch.io.
it would be cool if I can get the game - or the online leaderboard - embedded in this post, but @admin would have to confirm if that's possible.

Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em 2 is a homage to the 70s pornographic Atari 2600 video game, Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em.
Set in New York City, during 2020's very very scary Covid-19 pandemic. Play as either Tony or Collen Cumia. Members of the "famous" Long Island rock band: Rotgut.
Your objective is to help satisfy their insatiable hunger for semen and child spit by catching their favorite fluids as they fall from the decrepit Compound Media headquarters.
Try to to beat the highest before time runs out - but beware of possible dangers like aids, 'rona, and the ghosts of sins past...
