I was returning to my car in the supermarket parking lot and walked past a boomer shoving a shopping cart off to the side rather than roll it to the nearby cart return. A guy in a truck driving alongside us called out to the boomer, "You left your cart out." The boomer responded, "It's alright" and walked right to his car and drove off. It's a shame the truck driver didn't blast him in the face for his social indiscretion. Returning carts to the returns keeps polite society intact! Typical entitled boomer asshole thinking the rules (no matter how trivial) don't apply to them.
