Dyslexia is real, my mom has it and everyone thinks she's illiterate. With her, its mostly numbers she jumbles up.
She never stooped as low as to have words spelled out phonetically for her, and she's in HR and is bilingual in French and English. It could be a genetic thing, as dyslexia is common among French Canadians, but I have a soft spot for those who have trouble with reading.
Landau tho is just runt of the litter low IQ who probably gets away with being agreeable and non-threatening.

I remember 15 years ago I got a job at UPS. My first “real” shift the manager pulled me out of the trailer and basically insinuated I was a dyslexic retard for mis-scanning a few packages of the 2500+ I was expected to load and scan for the day.
Little does he know, I run a Panera bread now.
