I've never heard him talk even semi-eloquently about anything outside of a script. In every interview, he does fake eccentric stuff like this to cover up the fact he has nothing to say. Shouldn't you be able to talk at length about your own work? Ask me about Panera bread and I'll go at you for hours about dough texture and the importance of being service minded.
It's probably actors in general, but I used Morgan Freeman as an example. No profession has such a disparity between talent and adoration. It's such a dime-a-dozen thing to do. I wish all the credit for movies went to the writers and directors, who are the actual artists.
