Joe also has options. He has a contract which will have to be breached by Spotify if they succumb to the mob, costing them God knows how many millions. And the threat of termination doesn't work well when he can just continue his podcast on another platform. Neil Young knows his fans don’t stream because he actually tried his own streaming platform / player years ago called “Pono” that was a huge flop.
