He hoped to do a nationwide tour yet only Bobo turned up to the 1 book signing he did. Delusional old boomer.

I think up to that point, he legitimately didn't realize just how far into obscurity he was. It had to have been a cold bucket of water in the face for nana.

The fact that his retarded brother was yelling underneath some scaffolding outside during the whole thing and that he had to be escorted out of the building by a huge team of cops/security just added to the myth of nana's fateful book signing. He had to have cried himself to sleep that night.

I always laugh at how they stuck him in the back by the supply closet.
"Hey Ned, there's some guy out front, says he's doing a book signing here today. Cue-mia something. You know anything about this?"

"Ah fuck, oh yeah...ummm, I dunno, just clear those boxes off the old break room table in the back and set it up in the back of the store over by the fire exit."

Nana imagined throngs of die-hard O&A fans lining the streets, like when Stern did his book signings in the 90s. Everyone partying, waving signs, tits everywhere, lines snaking for blocks and blocks. And Joe was in full "bodyguard" mode, ready to use his "military training" to subdue any libtard protestors who threatened to ruin Nana's big day. Just pure hilarity all the way around.
