I've met Nick several times, usually after shows in Boston but I did meet him around town a couple times like 10-15 years ago before he moved south and spent more time here. He's likable because he's not as confrontational in real life. I got a pic with him at that place in Seaport when he headlined in 2015 or so and I mentioned that I liked his podcast and he whimpered, "Please. Tell your friends. My wife fuckin hates me."

I always thought that was funny. I'll always like the guy even if he sucks.

Literally the split second that DirecTV said that he would get his entire contract if he walked he quit and never even bothered to speak to Artie.

The DMAN backs Artie in this fight 100%. Nick was boring the shit out of everyone "making his picks" which amounted to him saying the names of teams. It was a horrible waste of time, If you want to place bets do it in an entertaining way. Nobody remembers who your picked when you ram through it like that.

Now, The DMAN was also a big time hater of Artie at the end of his Stern run because he was constantly interjecting his nigger rich nonsense babbling about money. But in this fight with Nick, Artie was just trying to be amusing while Nick had no idea he was boring everyone to tears.
