Worst part of his stupid advice show on Sirius was that it ate into O&A. Instead of him doing it on weekends or pre-recording it after the show to play on a later date he basically ended the Wednesday show early every week and stole an hour long block from the channel. Looking back you can see that he was really doing the show to rehearse for when O&A quit and then he would take over the show and inherit the channel from them. Because the show was literally all about him getting comfortable on mic alone and never about actual questions or advice or him preparing for the show for more than five minutes.
I just imagine him and Anthony conspiring like two dweebs and secretly texting each other like fags. "Yeah the advice show was killer this week". "In a month or two we can dump Opie and do our own show on the channel without the cunt".
The first O&A advice show took place right when management officially fired Danny. He should have called into the show and asked how to keep a job without losing it like a retard. Jim has done multiple advice shows for Sirius, a podcast on his own that failed, and his Vice show that was basically the same format. From a guy who should basically only be giving advice on those looking for a more painful way to commit public suicide.

This is what kills me about the anti opie rhetoric.
Who in their right mind would keep working with someone who actively roots for their demise and will talk shit about you to anyone at work who will listen? Opie knew Anthony did all this and still hung on for many years. Anyone who acts like Opie was the one who broke up the show for his own selfish reasons is insane. Although I will say it was hilarious they finally figured out the visual element literally the first show after Anthony was fired.
