Them smoking crack together as an entire family is normal compared to Anthony's early sexual experiences. Anthony likely had just as ghoulish and insane an early life as Norton did. He just didn't directly reveal all of it on air and kept his real sexual preferences mostly a secret.

Likely the real stories of Anthony's dad getting him girls was that he knew his son was already gay. So it was more about trying to remove the faggotry and pissy-eyed behavior from his son before it became permanent. It was already too late though.

It seems pretty clear that Nana's obvious fear and loathing re: women goes back to his father paying a woman to molest him as a child, just like how Jimmy's love of penis is obviously related to being molested as a boy. And Nana's increasingly swishy, dainty, closeted bottom-queen mannerisms are all about him finally rebelling against his father, and becoming the thing his father hated the most...a fag.
