I'll watch this. I won't lie, I'll actually seek this out and drag the whole band to it kicking and screaming.

I haven't seen a decent parody movie in over twenty fucking years (those Date Movie-esque productions don't fucking count), and barring Spy Hard and Wrongfully Accused, which had their moments, it's been close to 40 years since anything has matched the prime ZAZ trilogy of Airplane!, Top Secret and the first Naked Gun. Christ, most couldn't even match their earlier Kentucky Fried Movie.

It’s more of a parody of action cop movies than a new Naked Gun. Trailer didn’t have any puns or clever word play humor that defines a ZAZ production. And there won’t be in the movie because that isn’t Seth Macfarlane’s style. It’s goofy like Family Guy.

The only other person I’d trust to stick to the spirit of the original movies is Weird Al because he’s done ZAZ humor in UHF and his music videos.
