It was a good movie on its own. James Woods was the best part; he's such a wonderful scumbag.
But it was just Goodfellas set in Las Vegas. Even used the same music. Scorsese does this a lot.

I agree that its just Goodfellas in Las Vegas, but thats no reason to dislike the movie. Its one of the best of all time. He took an already phenomenal movie in Goodfellas and made it even better, using the same elements.
