I'm going to waste so much when we get it back just to make up for it. My whiney wife wants to go to a hotel because she doesn't like sponge baths or using pool water to flush... she won't make it in the race war.

The power company keeps asking for prayers for their lineman but it's sunny and low 80s with low humidity and they aren't working nights, so they can get back to fixing shit and not whine about it.

Mine was out for eight days after Sandy, and it sucked. The hot water still worked, but despite having gas heat, the furnace didn't work without juice. Sitting in my car, charging my phone like some sort of animal.
