It's about making people go back on their principles. I would imagine most people would rather people not kill babies but "but hey what if it's a rape baby" then they're like "oh I guess killing babies isn't so bad then". It's complex because the woman (likely) had no control over the rape or incest but she definitely has control whether she gets her baby's head scrambled and scooped out with a melon baller. So, comparing whether rape and incest is worse than choosing to julienne the baby doesn't really work but most people don't care.
