I don't think we're in any position to judge them for not being over it. There are plenty of other things, but we're in a glass house. When you don't spend time on a forum that's still dissecting decade-old audio then maybe you'll have a point.

I was never all in on the fake Opie praise bit. Does turning on Ant after many years of hating Opie suddenly mean we have to take turns polishing Opies knob? I never understood why that was the case. Can’t we hate both of them? Ant was at least funny sometimes, there’s nothing endearing at all about Opie. Faggot couldn’t even deliver a funny line properly that was hand delivered to him on a satin pillow via instant feedback.

His engagements on the streams were STUPID. He is a coward and incapable of riffing. Mushmouth is better if that is even possible. The only thing we know for sure is Opie is a cheap jerk, evidenced by his own admission and the fact everyone from the show abandoned him. Though he never really deserved his fame or money his biggest crime was tanking the flow of the show. As for Anthony and Jim their biggest crimes are actual crimes and I personally feel obscurity isnt enough of a punishment for them.

And all I did was give him a hard time about how he lived in a Trump apartment which are multi-million dollar apartments and he was complaining about Christmas bonuses for the help. When you think about it, it was probably the most successful bit in the history of the sub, but before that, Opie was totally despised. It somehow became non-ironic after a while, which was weird, as he still sucks as much as he did before. I used to LOVE those old "Opie ruins the bit" posts, mainly because there were so many examples.
