The only people allowed to advertise and promote on Youtube are the ones willing to debase themselves. Clickbait titles, open mouth pose, soy face, and other faggotry. No one behaves like this in real life. Imagine talking to someone and the entire time they are making the 'youtube faggot face'. You would ask them if they had a stroke. If you watch on Android TV or a fire stick, you can download smart tube TV and it removes the commercials the sponsors in the video and there's an option to remove the thumbnail and it just shows you a random point in the video as a picture instead

I immediately block any channel that has a give-me-views-face thumbnail. Life is better when you do that. And anything that looks like negativity farming. Usually they both go hand in hand. I have easily blocked hundreds of channels and every week I need to block more. Youtube pushes them hard.
