Yeah, the show had 20 years of running jokes, inside references and bits. In a way it was almost like a radio soap opera about a radio show. By degenerates, for degenerates. The only thing they were really good at was playing big time renegade radio stars on radio.It'd be like the AA Show: you like the idea more than the execution.
All of them are spent. It would be fun as nostalgia/a dumpster fire for maybe 2-3 episodes then you'd realize it's been over for a long time.
Now that Opie is totally washed up and Anthony is almost universally persona non grata due to his out of control behavior (extreme politics and social media addiction), there's no show. They would need to do something completely different. And before they can even attempt that, Anthony needs to just go go away for at least 6 months before he can come back (second rule of show business). And he needs to come back a different man, without extreme politics and social media addiction.
