So many rabid Trump haters were drooling about "33 counts! Each has a max sentence of 12-15 months!" Like they were going to put him away for 30 years. Even if the sentences were imposed (and like you said, it won't) they'd run concurrently and he wouldn't get anything near the maximum.

He wouldn’t have been charged if we’re talking what normally happens, as opposed to the letter of the law.
