I have nothing against lyrics that are sentimental or emotional, but they aren't "bad ass" as Bert tries to assert. One of most misused terms of past 15 years.

Before Bert tearfully used it to describe song lyrics that made him cry, I have only heard it used to describe female Democrat politicians in recent years.
