I wouldn't call him flawless, but I appreciate having someone from the show around who's open to talk about that experience. You might not always agree with his opinions and interpretation of events, but he doesn't seem to make stuff up. And this One Direction thing isn't a big deal. He didn't give a shit about some strangers kid who might have enjoyed the show. So what? Could he have been cooler? Sure, but who cares?

Could I have been cooler....what? I've said it before and I'll say it again. The people who dislike me here are the people who listened to the Danny Sucks YouTube playlist, listened to 2 hours of Danny screaming at people and decided, hey this guys an asshole. 2 hours out of 9 years. I remember some douche calling the aftershow to complain, and I asked him straight up what I did that bothered him and he couldn't answer. Just like all of you. Career path? I'm so glad I got out when I did. It's almost 2025. Satellite Radio is as dead as regular radio. What the fuck is Sam going to do when Sirius finally cuts the cord? What job is Travis going to get with a resume that reads "O&A, Jim & Sam, That's It." You guys remember Steve C? He was trapped in radio just like these guys. Had to accept a minimum wage part time air shift because that's all he was able to get with his decade of radio skills. And then? He hung himself. I think where you get mixed up is assuming Sam makes some ungodly amount of money and I could never possibly make more than minimum wage when in reality, we probably pull the same money. Sam was an unproven on-air personality. He was handed air-time. He didn't earn air-time. You don't go from paying a Producer $45,000 one day to half a mil the next because now he does a show with Norton. That's crazy talk.

So please do continue to lecture me about career paths. I got off this highway a dozen years ago. Travis and Sam bullet-training to a very difficult job search in a medium that died a decade ago.

Sam - Gainfully employed at the same place for years, making a decent living (probably low $100k but who gives a fuck, he's making more money than you) doing an absurdly easy job, has time/resources to do side projects like his podcast and the wrestling shit

You - bitter, dim-witted, making less money, apparently can't read, had to change careers at least once but probably twice or more, sitting on a high horse despite being worse than Sam fucking Roberts in every way imaginable
