It was absolutely a life lesson that you can’t help someone who doesn’t help themselves and I really mean it, you can not provide any level of help for someone if they don’t do anything personally.

You can solve every issue they have daily, financially support them completely and basically wrap them in cotton wool and if they won’t do the necessary hard work it’s just delaying the inevitable and ruining your own life.

I still provide for family at great cost to myself to this day, because in real life I’m just like that, it’s why the west has fallen, because we will help others to extinguish us.
