Actually, my math was wrong. They got 3.4 of men/women 18-34. We now need the percentage of men/women 18-34 and apply 3.4 to that number and not 3.4 to the total pop. Again, I'll use 23% of the population as being in the 18-34 demo.
23% of 15Mil = 3,450,000. They got 3.4% of that listenership in that demo. That's 117,000 men and women 18-34 based on 15 million potential listeners.
Both you and I forgot to account for the actual percentage of men and women 18-34 so you got 700K and I got 500K. 117,000 is the correct figure.
