there's always Acamprosate, I never ended-up going on it... but apparently it's really good for stopping cravings. It's not a 'buzz you up' drug, & wont help with acute WDs, but I've only heard good things when it comes to stopping cravings

I stopped drinking 18 months ago, but I used to get Charlie Horses all the time.
Really makes me feel old, when I'm literally balls deep in my wife and my entire leg starts cramping up. I started taking magnesium to reduce cramping.

After 15 months of sobriety, the things I've learned about cirrhosis is that it tends to cascade into other health problems.
This week's fun trip to the Intensive Care Unit was because I vomited up about two pints of blood.
Something that Ant seems to be unaware of, is that even an IMPAIRED liver will hijack your brain.
For instance, for a solid nine months or so, I suffered from brain fog, paranoia, anxiety, and a complete and utter lack of motivation.
Then I vomited like a zombie, and it's like I have my brain back. It's fucking nuts.
I need to do some research on this, but I'm guessing that I was slowly accumulating blood in my stomach. And since that can't be digested, it was leading to the type of irrational/illogical/repetitive behavior that Ant has exhibited for 10+ years.

Any addiction is just hedonism/weakness. It's not a "disease." Sorry. Being too weak to control your drinking/whatever is not the same as being struck down with a brain tumour or blood cancer. Drinking is fun. The next day isn't. Either learn to balance or stop.

Hundred percent. That's why Ant is maddening. He seems to think that every bad thing that happens to him is due to someone else "wronging" him, while simultaneously downplaying the things that are ACTUALLY KILLING HIM.
When he inevitably ends up in the hospital for the last time, he'll be angrily tweeting as long as he's (barely) conscious.
