I want to enjoy AC/DC but the guitarist who dresses up like an 8 year old 1950s school boy makes it impossible.

At least they don’t make it a secret they’ve made the same album over and over. They also don’t seem to be pretentious assholes like other bands - didn’t try to change their sound much to whatever was trendy. I think they only have one “slow” song and it’s not exactly a power ballad like every rock group was doing in the 80s and 90s. I compare them to ZZ Top as a band with a gimmick and keeping their sound the same for the most part.

The thing with AC/DC is that they're just simple guys making simple music for other simple guys. It's no frills blues rock that you can enjoy while too drunk/retarded to form coherent thoughts or complete sentences. That said, Bon was the heart of the group and after his death they became their own tribute band. As for the costume, I don't watch their music videos so it's not really an issue. All bands look ridiculous on stage, nice "in the groove" face, stupit.

They helped with one of the funniest O&A segments.

Other than that, don't really care for them except for maybe a few songs.

Van Halen’s song “Panama” was inspired by AC/DC to the point they should get a writing credit. Especially the guitar part after the solo when it slows down - pretty much ripped from AC/DC’s “Whole Lotta Rosie”
