No I had the Matt Hoffman game and I played the fuck out of it. I used to rent the Dave Mirra game on a regular basis but never bought it for some reason. I remember you could hold on to vehicles that hit you. That was fun. I was a real BMX fag for a while. I had a big poster of Rick Thorne doing a backflip in my room.

Depending on the games and when you sold it, this was a good deal tbh. I bought my first PS3 from kijiji in like 2012 for $150. I did it after buying a a brand new PS4 for $600, and then wondering how much better the 4th gen console was, and tbh it wasn't all that much.

i still have my original xbox and dreamcast since i'm a hoarding fag, but it doesn't look like they went up that much in value, not enough to feel guilty if you didn't hold onto it for 20 years. am i missing something?
other thing to consider is how much people actually pay for this shit. i've seen 'collectibles' i have go for stupid amounts, but no one ever buys it.
case in point - i've had this dumb meatwad thing still in box sitting in storage in pristine condition and i've seen it listed for $600 at times. but i don't think i've ever seen it sell for that much

Acclaim facing bankruptcy and running out of ideas. This is around the time they offered money for people to get an advertisement for Shadowman 2 on their relatives real life gravestones. To be fair they probably didn't think anyone would do it.

It was originally supposed to have Dave Mirra's name on it. Acclaim then stuffed the game full of sleazy nudity in an attempt to increase appeal. Mirra caught wind of this and demanded his name be removed from the project. The geniuses at Acclaim then decided not to do that and it ended really well for them.
Acclaim had a lotta boneheaded marketing ideas like that. Mr. Nip Name only scratched the surface.
Turok: Evolution was the first game I had for the PS2 so I convinced myself it wasn't bad. It's amazing how they managed to make a game with dinosaurs with rocket launchers shitty.

I knew Dave Mirra died but I somehow never found out how until a few years ago. I assumed he got a terminal illness and died quickly. Nigga shot himself. CTE motherfucked him.
