Keith must have some major dirt on Anthony. As retarded as Anthony is, he was connected to tons of podcasting and radio companies. But instead of choosing the same people managing Rogan or Sirius talent, he chose a moron cop boat salesman to run his radio empire. Like if you had asked O&A fans after Anthony got fired, who would run his new Compound radio network, Keith the Cop would not even have been in the top 100.

Keith is also responsible for making Anthony feel invincible with the law. All the drunk driving that Anthony did and was likely caught for. All the crazy speeding and driving infractions. Getting easier access to firearms and carry permits. Probably gave Anthony the confidence to become a raging drunk who beat his beard girlfriend and wave his gun around like a maniac. Anthony probably thought that there was no way some stupid failed comedienne ditzy broad would actually get him arrested and humiliated in public with Keith protecting him.

He doubtless has dirt on him but I don't even think that was it. Nana's just a conflict-averse old biddy who can't stand up for herself unless the argument is with an unseen caller. She's also lazy as hell. Compound Media was KtC's idea. Nana was wallowing in bud lites and self-pity after she was fired. Keith suggested doing something and probably just said "and I'll run it for you. You're the talent. You don't need to worry about the day to day stuff." Perfect, thought idle Nana. She must have known deep down that an ex cop with zero experience running any media enterprise would end badly but she didn't say boo to a goose. Silly, frightened old Nana. Keith laughed all the way to the bank.

Also, Keith and his wife were effectively his butler and maid for years already. He was already familiar with them and -because he clearly has violent, feminine reactions to being expected to "run this thing"- delegated it to the help. Because how hard could it be?

Shit, even that likely would have worked if he gave Keith some instructions on placating the shows and giving ground in order to keep the talent happy. AntH couldn't be bothered to even serve as an uninvolved figurehead.
