I'm in the first year of O&A on XM and as awful of people as anthony and jim are Opie is so fucking irritating to listen to. His story telling of things that happened to the show are brutal, but his personal stories are so unfucking believable. I'm not sure how I made it through listening to the show live.

wasn't it up to sirius whether or not the comedians were paid, not opie? I know he pushed very hard to get patrice his own programme, but their offer to him was apparently pretty abysmal

Yeah and he pushed really fawkin hard for Pat Duffy to get hired too. This was for the afternoon drive show and since he had no cohosts he actually pushed hard for them to get paid as such. That came out and it was essentially the end of Vos and Bobby talking to Opie since they were coming in for free and should have been the obvious choice. Then he got fired for videotaping a coworker shitting.
