Are they crossing the road or just hanging out on it?

Some days they'd block the road with trees and some days they'd somehow flood the one part of it out. I think they had to get trees from one side and drag them over to the other.

Why are they so prevalent in canada? Like i said, i saw plenty of them and saw trees they gnawed on, but they were never nuisance level

They probably aren't as much of a problem as I make them out to be, but they've pissed me off personally. The river I fish the most patricularly has a fucking whack of them and they'll pop out of nowhere and slam their tail all pissed off right next to my kayak and scare the shit out of me. There's geese and swans all over too and they've never really bothered me because I just stay away from them but beavers get right up in my shit and actually try to fuck with me and I'm conscious of trying to leave them alone.

They bully me.

It'd do nothing. My buddy apparently sniped one in the head from a moving boat one time with a .22 and the thing swam off like it was fine and they looked but never found it. You'd think it would've floated up somewhere.

I think it's the same as the states. There's seasons and you have to get your tags and shit.
