The first Star Wars prequel and the second Matrix movie compete for my biggest disappointment in a theater. I like to think that led me to piracy to spite Hollywood.

I liked the grime aesthetic from movies in that period. Everything now is too sharp, clean and tidy looking even while shit is blowing up. It's all sanitized.

The thing I liked about the first film, which I think is only present in that one, is how desaturated it was and everything had a subtle tinge of green to it.
