Debatable. He was shite in the last of us show imo. His version of that character was so boring and mopey. It was partly down to how it was written tbf but he really didn't bring anything to the role.

I haven't seen that, or much he's been in tbh. He was much better than the blond guy in Narcos and made a pretty good bad guy in that Equaliser sequel. Denzel really kills the shit out of his character too. One of the most satisfying kills in recent movie history

Though I will say the younger brother from that show is talented. I was hard up for something to watch a year ago during a long tour break, and watched Gotham. Not a good show, but that kid? Every episode he was in kept my attention. Even with that god-awful makeup in the last episode, he was good.

Michael C. Hall is great in the first three(?) seasons of Dexter and completely carries and elevates the show. After that the show is a fucking mess. I think you're being generous to call him a "star level actor" though. Aaron Taylor Johnson is absolutely fucking terrible and a perfect example of a "star level" actor who has no business being where he is. Gal Gadot is also a terrible actress who just happens to be one of the most beautiful things on the planet and a massive star because of it. Etc, etc, etc.
