Opie would rant about management every show only to later admit that he was meeting with them everyday. Opie was basically the PD of the Virus channel. He was the boss because he wanted to be. He has never and will never understand shirts versus suits because he was destined to be a suit but managed to find a funny cohost that dragged him out of obscurity.

This is something that I posted about before but I will repeat it again. Jim hosted UFC fighters in exchange for free tickets or ticket upgrades and networking to try to land a job with the UFC. Jim also hosted tons of porn whores on the show and would immediately after the show offer them money for sex. The only reason that they were booked on the show was so Norton could meet them in person. Opie and even Anthony almost never did this where they booked guests just for themselves. Opie was more known for turning down guests, hanging up on celebrities, or ripping on the guests in person. Opie famously asked Jimmy Snuka about his dead girlfriend to the point where the case became publicized against and resulted in charges.
Norton basically got Sirius-XM to pay for his whores to be booked, give them free plugs, waste time on the show, so he could meet them and network with them. Normally when you hire some whore from out of town you pay for her hotel or airfare. But Sirius-XM and then plugs would cover those so Norton would fly them in for free. And Norton after every UFC fighter would come in would ask them to get in touch with people at UFC so he could host a show (which he eventually got). And during the 'interviews' Norton would sometimes barely say anything. He would book them and just wait for the show to be over to network with them, get autographs, or try to hire the porn stars or whatever as escorts.
We also know that some of the whores on the show did not go home with Norton but instead slept with other members of the show including interns for money. And a couple of the whores hooked up with Sirius-XM staffers for free rather than accept $2K or whatever to sleep with Norton. So Norton had such a low batting average that he was booking whores on the show practically every week. And knowing how much of a closet faggot he is I would not be surprised if he never actually banged a single one of them.
