I mostly go to the farmers market now. At the store I pay extra for organic shit, pasture raised, grass fed, etc.Need to get a local farm supplier too, and learn how to filter water as thoroughly as possible,

They are good kids, I play fortnite with my nephew sometimes but it’s a treat, they don’t live on iPads and games and screens, they are active and do things.
My friend brags about how many hours in games his kids have. It’s insane.

Really the reason people go to grocery stores is so they can pretend to buy "healthy meat and vegetables" while actually being there to pick up junk food and soda. It’s not even that much more expensive, in fact where I am it’s the same or cheaper than the large stores.
I think people are just too lazy / addicted to junk food that they pretend they can only afford frozen pizzas.
It’s the same with saying they don’t have time to cook, when it takes the same time to prepare simple healthy meals as it does just heating up tv dinners.
I do that with old audio gear. I have such a stockpile now that I only play with nakamichi decks and McIntosh amps All the stuff I’d never use in my house I just sell or trade for cool old speakers.I like buying old and broken gear and restoring it, usually synths. Working on another minikorg 700s right now with some broken keys and a couple broken connections ^_^
