This, except Quentin Tarantino.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was so fucking stupid and pointless. I was legitimately pissed after I spent 3 hours on that horse shit
I got a semi private screening room for my birthday to see that movie on a birthday. Utter dog shit. However. I still like most his movies.

Controversial take: as good as Yogahotwife and Amber Blank are performing underneath a black dick, Bonnie will always be my #1 Queen of Spades.

Having watched Once Upon a Time in America for the second time last night, I've come to the conclusion that it is one of the most boring dull films I've had the misfortune to endure, and I tend to do that quite regularly these days.

Also The Wire is very overrated and used as a benchmark gritty tv crime drama when it just became cliched paint by numbers dirge, with a worse ending than GOT, if that's even possible.
Once upon a time in the west is also way too long and annoying with the musical motifs. The only "impressive" thing was the set design, but Leone was better on a small budget

I've avoided all Tim Burton movies for my entire life, because I saw Batman in the theater in 1989 and thought "this is only a little bit better than that campy ass TV show." Nicholson tried his best to save it, and Prince cranked out a decent soundtrack in something like 48 hours, but it just seemed "meh."

Never saw "Nightmare Before Christmas" or "Edward Scissorhands" or any of that. I gave Batman II a try and it was dogshit, way worse than the first.

The other day, the kids put on "Beetlejuice" and for the first time, I thought "hmmm this is actually kinda clever."
Watch Ed Wood. Good fawkin movie.

Paul Thomas Anderson's films are pretentious, shitty and boring.
Except for Boogie Nights. That movie fucking rules.

I'm convinced that Tarantino played a fairly large role in that movie. I love the movie (my username is from it) but EVERYTHING else he ever did is so much different, and not in a good way IMHO. PTA and Tarantino were cokehead buddies during that era, and I assume he was giving him a lot of pointers.

Plus, the obvious Goodfellas "homages."
