Drudge Report was the only place I trusted for like a decade or more. Now it's NPC garbage.

Krystal Ball and Saagar's show was good. Greenwald and Taibbi are two of the only real journalists left. Jimmy Dore is great because he's a lefty but goes after the neoliberal lunatics.

Not sure you can trust anyone else.
Everything is pozzed.

Drudge sold out a couple years ago so it's not the same as it used to be, but I still check it out as a starting point (it's my launch page).

I'm a filthy libertarian but reason.com/blog tends to post good stuff on cops and politicians screwing over the public. Skip the national news stories. Some of the writers are so far up Biden's ass it's shameful.

The NY Post is trash but I grew up reading that and the Daily News (which had better comic strips}. News has a paywall, so I'll check the Post out for top stories and NY sports. Anything else "beneath the fold" can be ignored.

And if you follow the right people and ignore the commenters, Twitter can link to some good news stories.

So, really /pol/ and this place, I'm embarrassed to say.

"Okay, faggot. What's next?"

It’s exhausting to even try to get the actual news since it’s all about ratings / clicks. They purposely angle things to get a reaction to the point of leaving important details out, mislead with how it’s presented, and just flat out lying by running with an unverified source. You really have to take everything with a grain of salt since journalism dies when money for advertising is involved. You can’t say Fox News is all lies while believing everything you hear on CNN because they’re the same thing just lean different politically. Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper are the same as Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson, it’s not news, it’s news opinion and it’s all done for ratings.
