Where we at with da video games?

I hit 30 and thought this is a waste of fucking time. Played Warzone with some friends for a while but got pretty bored with it. Can't remember a game I really enjoyed and got excited about since Battlefield 3 and maybe GTA 5.

I got a Nintendo switch a few years ago because I was doing a lot of long distance flights and I can earnestly say it's the gayest little device I've ever come across. All the games are shit and for kids.

I've seen battlefield 2042 is coming out soon and considering getting a gaming PC to play it. And maybe some old classics I never got the chance to play.

I stopped playing for many years due to adult things getting in the way, though I think it's a more productive way to spend one's time than watching tv and maybe even reading about news/politics.

s.t.a.l.k.e.r. for PC is as good as its reputation, last game i attempted plyaing was Kingdom Come: Deliverance but only got 1/3rd thru, still pretty cool, would recommend

I play video games strictly as a pass time. I would never pick them over any social interaction ever. @John Doe 1 They are certainly less harmful than social media

I fuck with like Red Dead Online and older Elder Scrolls and that’s about it. Put on an audiobook, get a little stoned, ride around the Old West like it’s life at the outpost.

I don't know if it's because of my age, but Madden is ridiculously difficult to play. It's not fun at all. Other than that I think the last games I played were Gears of War 4 and Battlefield 1, and I got bored by both. Now I just watch my kids play shitty Roblox games.

I just cant get into them anymore. Ill play a sports game for an hour or two and Im done. I dont even want to try a game with a storyline that requires many hours and Im not into the shooters. I just lose interest.

I only play Mario kart and the 2d Mario bros. games. It's childish but I've never gotten into the first person shooter games.

Yeah Madden has a huge learning curve. I used to like the game NFL blitz because it was easy to play and fast paced. Not sure if anything like that is available these days.

Yeah Madden has a huge learning curve. I used to like the game NFL blitz because it was easy to play and fast paced. Not sure if anything like that is available these days.

Once you find the three plays that always work then its not really a challenge anymore, you can always go back to those plays and obliterate any team on regular mode.

Games today are way too involved and complicated. I just wanna play a good baseball/football game but they're loaded with options where, as a player, you can check emails, manage social media profiles, interact with coaches, and all this other superfluous nonsense instead of just playing the game with a good hitting/pitching engine.

I got into it later, being into music most of my life. But it was a good time waster with friends, playing FIFA and the Sonic games.

The key thing I appreciated about Sega was that they took risks - may not always work, but when it did, you'd get Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, Nights, Burning Rangers, Vectorman, Shenmue... It's why I liked the first PlayStation so much, all the weird things they'd throw in there. I still like UmJammer Lammy and Deception 2.

I still wish I kept my Dreamcast - big mistake selling that off, but that was during my low point of rebuilding my life. I miss Virtua Tennis...
