I was watching some Family Matters today and even though the show jumped the shark, that Urkel still makes me laugh. I enjoy it a lot more than many of the other black sitcoms from back in the day.

Urkel had great chemistry with reggie veljohnson, it was always funny to watch him get enraged at something urkel did.

It’s funny most people that were fans of Family Matters didn’t know it a spin-off of Perfect Strangers. Urkel wasn’t even supposed to be a main character, he just got so popular they made him a main part of the show and bumped out the daughter Judy to never be seen or mentioned again. I always loved when sitcoms would just remove a character like they never existed.

Judy (Jaimee Foxworth) got so desperate for a career later on that she started doing porn:

God bless you, Urkel.
