Back in '97-99ish they had a chat room hosted on their website. (remember strawberry?)
That was where I first discovered code injection exploits before they were a thing and started to troll people by dropping custom html/javascript into their bowser.
Also where I learned of Howard Stern and US Shock Jock Radio after an e-friend from there had his website go "viral" on Howard Sterns Show and the traffic literally melted the server every time HooHoo mentioned it. He sold it to the owner of Steakandcheese as bandwidth costs were killing him and he didnt have a way of monetizing the site.
He was then interviewed on Sterns show via phone (and totally flubbed it). Cost him several hundred pounds because he was left on hold for over an hour and was phoning USA from a UK Cellphone. I did get a shout out though.
That website is still going and I've seen it referenced here a few times.
