Nobody buys Pat's shit anymore. The media tour backfired because the questions multiple people ask are: Why does this guy spend all day antagonizing people, posting on social media, calling people horrible names and making threats ALL DAY if he's so terrified for his life? Why doesn't he change his accounts, why not move? Why does he attack anyone who questions his version?

It backfired because a couple media sources asked these and he flipped out publicly, lied and made threats in response.

After SIX YEARS of smoke, even the most woke reddit user starts to wonder if maybe there's fire. "Trust me, bro" isn't going to work after six years.
