Russia funded the north Vietnamese until we had enough, and withdrew. There’s no reason we shouldn’t give Ukraine weapons until Putin cries uncle. A peace deal without significant Russian concessions, only emboldens our enemies and makes us look weak to China and the world as long as we don’t have to send troops the war is very good for us. Russia funds all sorts of fifth columnists in the West weakening them is good.

They marched into the sovereign territory of one of our allies. So if we want to have allies in this world, we have to defend them or else why would they side with us economically/militarily/etc? China wants to invade Taiwan , which produces a huge percent of the world's chips, and it would fuck the world economy in many ways if that were to happen. Obviously it doesn't mean wasting hundreds of billions on forever wars, and whatever deal Trump makes could have been made in the beginning without millions of people dying. This is of course assuming what we are seeing is what is actually happening, and this isn't all a total predetermined theater.

Such a Western mentality. Duhhh people are dying! We place a great deal of capital on death, these people place a great deal of capital on having a nation.
