Junior prep school. Mr McDougal or "Mr Mac" as he insisted on being called. Actually Scottish, ginger beard and all. Was supposed to teach geography, but would spend half the lesson talking about football, his wife and what he had for dinner the night before. Used to give students nicknames. Desperately wanted to be the "cool" teacher. Heard later that his wife left him and he became a homeless alcoholic lol.

Mr Jones. Same school. Openly antisemitic. Accused one Jewish boy of "Yiddish behaviour." Tall guy, skinny as a rake with the biggest Adam's apple I think I've ever seen. Liked me because I was good at his subject and decent at football (which he coached), but always had an air of potential violence about him. Saw him basically assault at least two boys for relatively minor infractions.

Miss Newman. Senior school. Giant tits.

Aren’t you rich? Don’t you have them enrolled in rich people schools? They are the exception which prove the rule.

Enroll them at a state school in a deprived area, and tell me my anger isn’t justified when they get groomed gang raped and the teachers give them the impression they deserve it and every aspect of them and their natural ambitions is wrong and evil.

An interesting question would be if anybody went through schooling without knowing about a pedophile teacher.

I don’t know anybody who could say that. The number of pedophiles who teach is magnitudes worse than priests, yet the go to example remains churches.

I had a great teacher, I don't even remember what the class was called. But it was an advanced class, you needed to take it if you wanted to become an engineer or a doctor and shit like that.
There are three things I remember we did
1) we watched the documentary The Age of Stupid,
2) we went out fishing and
3) he put up a Christmas tree and one day came in dressed as Santa and gave everyone Christmas presents. I don't know how it is in America but here we have a tradition where someone dressed as Santa, usually the dad of the family, comes in and says something like "Ho ho ho, are there any kind children here?" and then gives out the presents from his sack.
He did all that and everyone played along that he was Santa. I think we may have danced around the tree as well. We were all 18 and 19 and everyone loved him.

They’re okay I guess? I don’t know anything about chemistry, and I have friends who have good careers in chemical engineering so I assume it’s as good as any discipline to study.
